Be your own person
The soul quietly lies deep within the heart
God Has put His spirit upon each and one of us. It is through His spirit that we can learn to follow Him and seek his faithfulness, holiness, perfection, and everlasting goodness!
In our quiet moments we begin to surrender in the feelings we have so, we tend to supress them sometimes because we cannot face our own shadows which lie deep within the unconscious parts of ourselves.
The angst of the soul
There are times when the unconscious mind creates anxious thoughts and perplexing emotions that can drive our state of being into angst. This usually happens when there is an unresolved internal conflict that the souls screams and yearns for resolution.
We must understand that our mental stresses can tell us how to consciously fix ourselves rather than relying on the help of others. Sometimes the best advice we can have so far is our own heart and soul.
Carl Jung has also said that the soul is the psychological experience of the body. The soul and psyche are intertwined hence, when problems arise our bodies can feel all sorts of sensory inputs - butterflies in the stomach, shaking hands, racing hearts, sweating, feeling cold, and the like. These physiological responses, where one may usually ignore, are in fact, normal as it brings us awareness that our state of being is being challenged for growth.
Anxiety can lead to greatness when a person has overcomed it. It is through angst that the soul tests the limits of our human capabilities, sometimes beyond recognition, afterall, we are beings caged in physical bodies. Time and time again, we are tested by the Divine Being - God, but in His infinite love and wisdom He does not test nor punish us just as we deserve rather, He lets us grow and become like His Son - to suffer with Christ Jesus can be our own angst in the soul.
